Let’s be real for a second.
Are We Really Ready For A Black Female President?
It’s only been around 223 years since women first working. And now, women are working in huge positions in leadership. Such women include Ursula von der Leyen who serves as President to European Commission, Giorgia Meloni, who seres as Prime minster, alongside numerous female CEOs of multi-billion dollar companies as well as billionaire entertainments and artists.
Kamala Harris, who is a Forbes 100 Most Powerful Women In The World recipient, (number 3 on the list to be exact) became the world’s first female Vice President of The United States. She also became the world’s first African American and Indian American Vice President Of The United States.
So with the huge growth of women now becoming huge leaders in the world will America fill in line with the progression of history alongside other countries that have secured female Presidents, Prime Ministers and world leaders.
This also begs the question of whether having a The First Female Black President will open the doors for other firsts.
Could this stride in history open the doors for a Latino President, a Native American president, a Queer president?
Is America ready to look beyond a human’s physical appearance and rationally and logically choose a president that best suites the interest for all Americans?
One would hope that the President Of The United States would be that of a bi-partisan which involves working together for the common good of all people.
Let’s work to people alive, healthy and happy.
But the truth of the matter is that some people don’t give a shit about this and are only interested in serving their own personal interests.
A rich person can sometimes create a superior mindset with the belief that because they have achieved a high level of wealth that their wealth should qualify them a certain level of power of immunity.
They then distribute this power to other rich people to contain majority control over the much larger masses of people that simply can’t afford that level of money, power and control.
It’s so far gone from that of the bi-partisan, those that came about every human and the betterment of all humanity amongst multiple generations.
Well, welcome to America folks - the land of the greed and the place where money can buy you anything.
The place where two people can commit the exact same crime yet depending upon how much green paper you have one person could receive life in prison while the other doesn’t serve prison time at all.
Money has controlled us so much so that greed can and probably will one day become our demise.
So before we answer the question of whether we are ready for this change in history, one must ask themselves are they for all people or simply for themselves and people that look like them or have as much money as they do.
Well if anybody embodies the later it’s Donald Trump. From his reference to other poorer countries being shitholes to his emphasis of American Americans being bothered by immigrants due to them taking their jobs. Oh excuse me, I mean their “black jobs.” Jobs of which pay less, and a hell of a lot less than that of a billionaire like Donald Trump (despite him filing for bankruptcy four times.)
But if you are for all people and furthering the growth of all people, especially that of our kids, grandkids and their kids, then the choice is well, pretty damn obvious.
What Has Kamala Harris Done?
Let’s start with the fact that President Elect Kamala Harris helped implement the inflation reduction act which is considered the most ambitious act to save the environment.
I mean, how are our kids’ kids going to be able to even live if our planet dies before they do.
In addition to this, Harris is the strongest advocate as a presidential choice when it comes to updating numerous progressive laws, such as the right to an abortion.
Even if you are a person that believes abortion is murder, one must also consider the magnitude of women that will ultimately end their lives trying to carry a child.
But again you would also consider this if you cared about all people.
Harris has the most evolved stance on giving people a second change. And that’s for all people, not just those that can afford to pay for one.
Harris has implemented a compressive prison reform plan consisting of educational job training both in and out of prisons to prevent prisoners from re-offending. She has overturned thousands of petty crime offenses and marijuana offenses.
Let’s remember that 38 states allow medical use of marijuana and 24 states allow recreational use.
Shouldn’t that mean that a person convicted for marijuana use before the law changed should be released.
Well, again, to believe that you would have to believe in the growth and good of all people. Because, how many of us are successful, prospering or even alive today simply because we were given a second chance.
And who are we to judge who gets that second chance when every person on this planet has had one.
So when we ask this question - are we ready for a black female President it really depends on what side of fence your are.
And that fence is called history folks.
Which side do you choose?
Now Let's Address The Elephant In The Room.
Has Kamala Really Locked Up More Black People Than Donald Trump?
Well, yes.
As Kamala Harris served as the District Attorney in the state of California and served as the Attorney General in the same state.
Frankly, she locked a lot of people up and a lot of black people at that.
Even though black people only make up 12% of the U.S. adult population, they represent 33% of the prison population.
However, what is not circulating around social media is the fact that under Harris’s watch, crime was literally cut in half. Violent crimes decreased 7%, murders and manslaughter charges deceased by 43%, burglary decreased by 27% and aggravated assault decreased by 15%.
Harris also created numerous prison reform programs and second changes for criminals.
So honestly, I ask you again, which side of history are you on?
